Had Ezekiel known Jeremiah personally?

IS IT POSSIBLE that the prophet Ezekiel had been personally acquainted with the prophet Jeremiah before being taken into exile in Babylon? Obviously there can be no direct answer to the question: neither of the books in question mentions the other prophet, and though there are obvious phraseological parallels between passages in the two books, those parallels by themselves could be explained in a variety of ways, and the tangle of critical questions presented by both books might well render a discussion of the question simply idle speculation.
