ROME - For more than a half century, Canterbury Press has provided commercial printing. In 1950, entrepreneur Roll C. Goodsell started the company in the garage of his home in north Rome. He chose the name Canterbury Press because his home was on Canterbury Hill, explains Dale Rashford, vice president for sales & marketing at Canterbury Press.

Employee-owned Canterbury Press prints periodicals and provides commercial-printing services for customers in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut as well as across the nation.
