Getting help for PTSD
|
Everyday, our U.S. troops demonstrate their patriotism by devoting their lives to our safety, to our country, and to our future. In the coming weeks, many of our troops will be traveling home after honorably serving our nation overseas amidst a country afflicted with violence, tragedy and aggression. Being surrounded by such turmoil for an extended period of time can have serious affects on mental health and can potentially cause a disorder known as post-traumatic stress disorder or PTSD.
