There are few who would have persuaded David Mcllor to make his public debut as a viola player but Malcolm Rudland is one of them. On 2 October Rudland was the prime mover of a most interesting day in London's South Kensington, which began at 12.30pm outside South Kensington Underground Station with the closure by the police of Sydney Place and Onslow Gardens.
