Bladder cancer is a common tumor of the urinary tract, accounting for 6% to 8% of male malignancies and 2% to 3% of female malignancies.1 The most common histologie cell type is transitional cell carcinoma, accounting for 90% of all primary tumors of the urinary bladder.
