ABSTRACT Mitigation of the Hatch jasper quarry, a "prospect site" in Central Pennsylvania, has enabled the reconstruction of a local system of stone tool acquisition and production. Artifacts from the quarry and the nearby Houserville habitation complex were analyzed using an attribute-based stage typology.
