FRIJOLES' REVENGE; Plot for southside development announced this week

No blockbuster film escapes a sequel these days, and local developer Alan Hoffman is saying the same should be true of successful property developments. Hoffman, a key partner in Aldea de Santa Fe (originally Frijoles Village), south of Las Campanas, is cooking up a new "sustainable development" off Richards Avenue in what's called the community college district.

The plot is familiar, but the usual cast of characters--skeptical neighbors, meddling politicians, smooth-talking developers...
