Alexis de Tocqueville Democracy in America

Exactly why America needs yet another translation of Tocqueville's Democracy in America is about as obvious as how a 26-year old French kid could have written an incisive analysis of a complex political system. As for the former mystery, I suspect that it's simply high time for students of American politics to update their most quotable guru with a new jacket and a fresh translation. And as for the latter: I'm not so sure that Alexis de Tocque...
