To examine the effects of PCB (polychlorinated biphenyls) in the sperm medium on embryonic development prior to in vitro fertilization, mouse embryos were cultured in physiogical medium. Addition of catalase (CAT), thioredoxin(TRX) in the incubation medium for mouse spermatoza before insemination were also examined with or without PCB to examine if CAT or TRX have reversible effect on fertilization rate.Mouse spermatozoa were exposed to PCB in the three concentration 10, 100, 200fÊg/ml, washed on a mini-pcrcoll gradient and used for insemination at a final concentration of 100 ,0 000 ...
