MENOPAUSE AND MOOD DISORDERS: USE OF HRT AND ANTIDEPRESSANT TREATMENT

Introduction: Menopausal period is often associated with symptoms of anxiety and depression, which can interfere with a good quality of life. HRT can significantly improve mood disorders in this period of woman's life. The use of antidepressant drugs is very common in postmenopause.
Materials and Methods: We have used different type of HRT and different associations of HRT with various antidepressants in postmenopausal women with symptoms of anxiety and depression.
