The U.S. Army Aeromedical Research Laboratory (USAARL) was dedicated in memory of MG Spurgeon H. Neel, a soldier, physician, visionary and leader. The ceremony was held on April 2, 2004, at USAARL, Fort Rucker, AL. USAARL is one of the six research laboratories of the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (MRMC), Fort Detrick, MD.
