This article deals with the functions of apparel materials by category. Functions of apparel materials are broken down into the following four functions: (1) functions relating to comfortability within clothing; (2) functions relating to body movement comfortability; (3) functions relating to easy care properties; and (4) functions relating to sanitary properties.
