EARLY PSYCHOSIS INTERVENTION

Why it's important and what you can do to help
Since 1999, the National Office of the Canadian Mental Health Association has been involved in two consecutive projects, funded by Health Canada, intended to increase awareness of the importance of early psychosis intervention. Following is a brief introduction to early psychosis intervention and an invitation to learn more about the subject through the CMHA web site, and to recognize and support the central role of families who are challenged by the illness.
