Quebec women and the Constitutional issue: A scattered group
|
This text looks at how Quebec women have participated in constitutional politics. In the first part of the text, some central ideas are presented, for example, "woman" as a political cohort, nationalism and nomadism. The role played by women in the shaping of the contemporary nationalist project is examined. Finally the results of the author's survey on women, constitutional options and support to feminism are presented.
