Push is on for re-creation of Blackfoot Confederacy

BROCKET -- According to organizers on the Peigan First Nation, the plans are rolling for the re-creation of the Blackfoot Confederacy.

George Yellowhorn, a direct descendent of Blackfoot chief Yellowhorn who was invited to the Treaty 7 signing in 1877, said the Blackfoot people have been treated poorly and exploited since the document was signed by 54 Blackfoot members 120 years ago.
