Bustamante Fdn awards two scholarships
|
THE Bustamante Foundation has awarded two scholarships to students at the Faculty of Medical Sciences at the University of the West Indies, Mona. The recipients are Haldane Porteous and Stacy-Ann Cushnie.
Mr. Porteous attended Clarendon College where he was a prefect and head boy between 1994 and 1997 and where he sat his CXC and 'A' Level Examinations.
Miss Cushnie, a past student of St. Andrew High School who is now in her third year of medical studies, has been active in the Church of God International where she served as youth leader and counsellor.
Both students will graduate in 2006. ...
