The increasing incidence of anti-Semitism in Europe is causing growing concern among American Jews, more than half of whom now believe anti-Semitism is a "very serious problem" in Europe. And the growing incidence of anti-Semitic attacks overseas has translated into a greater fear of anti-Semitism at home.

Those were the findings of the latest American Jewish Committee poll of 1,000 American Jews interviewed by phone between Nov. 25 and Dec. 11.
