Spitali double dips; Yaw, Coniam, Oteri also score

SPEEDWORLD MOTORPLEX, Northwest Phoenix, Ariz. (Feb. 29) - Thanks to its winning the 2003 Division 7 NHRA Summit Racing Series Finals team title and the division's Track of the Year award, Speedworld's 2004 season got off to a strong start with close to 200 racers attending the first two races.
At the latest event, Mike Yaw's GS1150 came out on top in Motorcycle. After beating Tom Lannie's '83 Suzuki in the semi's, Yaw took the win when Bill Wilson red-lighted in the final.
Bill Coniam survived six rounds to win Street. In the semi's, Coniam Tree'd opponent Kelli Cox to advance to the final. ...
