Summary. A taxonomic treatment is provided lor the Maranlaceae of the Malaysian slate of Sabah in northern Borneo. Thirteen species are recognised, four of which are described as new to science: Phacelophrynium aurantium, Phacelophrynium laxum, Phrynium grandibraclealum and Phrynium stenophyllum. One new combination is made: Stachyphrynium placentarium (Lour.) Clausager & Borchs. Keys to the genera and species are provided together with illustrations of the four new species.

Meter measures liquids down to 0.1 [micro]S*[CM.sup.-1].(PROCESSING)
High Performance Plastics
; A compact electromagnetic flow meter has been introduced by Bronkhorst UK. Called the Minature-Mag series, the tools are suitable for measuring liquids with a low conductivity down to 5 [micro]S*[cm.sup.-1]; even as low as 0.1[micro]S*[cm.sup.-1] for some applications. They can also handle flow

450mm: A Promise Postponed.(450 mm semiconductor wafers)(Editorial)
Semiconductor International
; By Alexander E. Braun, Senior Editor Regardless of the possible advantages of transitioning to 450 mm wafers, a majority of the industry appears to prefer keeping tried-and-true 300 mm technology. With the possible exception of immersion and extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography, there have been

Is the industry ready for 450 mm wafers?(editorial)(sematech)(Editorial)
Semiconductor International
; The move to larger wafer sizes is, to some, inevitable. Going back to 1975, the industry moved fairly rapidly from 100 mm to 125 and 150 mm, with each transition taking about three years. The move from 150 to 200 mm took a little longer--five years--and the move to 300 mm took eight years. Today,
