Performance Analysis of Real-Time Motion-Compensation System Controlling the Directional OceanNet Buoy Antenna
The prototype OceanNet buoy is a self-contained instrument platform with high-bandwidth satellite data communications. The buoy, developed by Harris Core. for its wholly owned subsidiary, Maritime Communication Services, communicates in real-time via Intelsat using a specially designed Harris directional antenna and an antenna positioner and controller from Matra Marconi Space.
