VEDA marks 25th anniversary with $50M in capital
|
George Chandler, president of Hubbardton Forge, first became acquainted with the Vermont Economic Development Authority in 1987. and the following year a $60,000 loan allowed Hubbardton Forge to undertake a critical strategic expansion. Since then VEDA has remained in the picture, most recently in 1999, helping with a $360,000 direct loan toward a 37,000-square-foot expansion of the company's plant in Castleton.
