An End to the Congressional Black Caucus?

In October, just a week after the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) held its Annual Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C., Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-Colo.), chairman of the Immigration Reform Caucus, indicated that he would introduce a measure to abolish congressional caucuses that are based on ethnicity such as the CBC, Hispanic caucus and Asian Pacific caucus.

"It would be anathema to me if someone wanted to create a White caucus," Tancredo told The Hill newspaper.
