Angelina Zubac reviews a key meeting on Australia's business future.

In this period of rapid technological change, innovation has been elevated to being a key to Australia achieving international competitiveness. The overarching question that no-one has yet been able to provide a definitive answer to is: how exactly is innovation to be achieved? Innovation comes in so many forms that just defining it has proven virtually impossible. The term 'innovation' can be applied to specific products or services, or it can be broadened to include organisational innovation or economy-wide innovation.
