As the lead photographer for Outside magazine's recent Yarlung Tsangpo expedition, Charlie Munsey not only created lasting images for the public, but defined himself as well.

To hear talk of expedition kayaking near rivers or in boat shops throughout the country, it would be odd not to hear the name Charlie Munsey mentioned among other paddling explorers. Munsey has charged drainages around the globe for well over a decade, chasing the dream from the streets of Pochra to the gorges of Tibet.
