Eli Wallach to Open New Tennessee Williams Fest

Acting legends Eli Wallach and his wife Ann Jackson are coming to Key West to celebrate one of our own legends.

Launching in six months time is the Tennessee Williams Festival, featuring appearances by Wallach and Jackson plus New York Times critic Mel Gussow and other theater luminaries.

The city's latest new festival is the brainchild of the Tennessee Williams Society, founded by Harry Kraut last year to "investigate and celebrate" the works of Williams.

Kraut, who once spent a couple of weekends in Key West with the famed playwright ("very enjoyable," he recalls), is himself famous for a ...
