This essay weaves together three strands of reflection and practice in Asian American Studies(1) at the University of Massachusetts, Boston where themes of healing (Herman, 1991) are deeply rooted in pedagogical and curricular commitments, and clearly expressed in the voices and perspectives of both students and alumni.
