Eric Gritsch, Emeritus Professor of Church History at the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg, is a veteran theologian whose past work includes a history of Lutheran symbolics (co-authored with Robert W. Jenson), a scholarly biography of Martin Luther, and an introduction to Lutheranism aimed at a popular audience.
