On Dec. 23, 2002, the Sickle Cell Disease Association of Broward County, Inc. will celebrate 25 years of providing Outreach Services in Fort Lauderdale/Broward County to those persons living with Sickle Cell Disease and their families. In celebration of our twenty-five year of service, take a walk with me through the early years as we pay honor to those soldiers that paved the way for our future generations and fought the battles for those that could not fight for themselves.
