Jamaica's Consul General to Miami retires from diplomatic service

JAMAICA'S CONSUL General to Miami, Mr. John Atkins demits office as of today, (Aug. 16). Mr. Atkins goes into retirement after 13 years in the Miami Office.
Described as one of the longest serving Jamaican consuls general, Mr. Atkins joined the Foreign service in 1989 when he came to the Miami Consulate as deputy to former Consul General, Mrs. Marie Wray, O.D., now deceased.
