Aboriginal Wildfire Services: Fire fighters ready to take some heat out of summer
NOJACK -- It took a lot of time and effort to make it a reality, but the two-eight person units that make up Aboriginal Wildfire Services crack forest fighting team celebrated their graduation in late May. The end of their training means that they are ready to start working as fully-qualified, top of the line forest fire fighters.
The best part is that the company they work for is Aboriginal-owned and employs all Aboriginal workers.
