News and Views: Two Black Students Named to Rhodes Scholarships
Two young African-American men from California, both of whom went to Ivy League colleges in the East, are among this year's crop of 32 Rhodes Scholars from the United States. As shown by the record of one of the African-American winners, one can now qualify for a Rhodes Scholarship even if one has been suspended from college for participating in a sit-in.
