News and Views: The Higher Education of Today's Black Executives

In past issues of JBHE we have examined the educational backgrounds of the chief executive officers of the nation's 25 largest black-owned businesses and of the highest-ranking blacks in corporate America.(*) We now look at the educational credentials of a larger group of high-level black executives. All members of this group of African Americans are employed by one of the Fortune 500 industrial or service companies or at one of the nation's 200 largest financial companies.
