Entrepreneurs make it in cleaning industry

A little more than three years ago, Bill Logan Sr. of Camp Hill had just been downsized from his 28-year career in the insurance industry. To Logan, who had a son about to graduate from Penn State, the timing seemed perfect to fulfill his longtime dream of owning a business.
After researching, he bought a franchise of the rapidly growing Baltimore-based Maid to Perfection Corp. Founded in 1980 as Midy Tidy, the company had 37 franchises in 1996.
Today, it has 175 franchises nationwide. In 2000. it plans to add 100 more. As for Logan, he says his fiveyear goal of $1 million in revenues is ...
