Legendary B.B. King to headline annual blues festival

The B.B. King Blues Festival will be held on Saturday, Aug 17, at the Polaris Amphitheater in Columbus. In addition to the legendary B.B. King, the event will feature George Thorogood and The Destroyers and The Fabulous Thunderbirds.

King's unique style of playing -- integrating single string runs, "bent" chords and left hand vibrato -- has influenced countless musicians after him, including Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, David Gilmour and Buddy Guy.
