Allegheny General helps prevent, detect and treat lung cancer

More than 170,000 people in the United States are diagnosed with lung cancer each year.

For African-Americans, lung cancer is the most common type of cancer diagnosed each year, according to the American Cancer Society.

To combat this disease, Allegheny General Hospital offers a Lung Cancer Program focusing on prevention, diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer.
