Jones, Levine receive Kennedy Center Honors

WASHINGTON, D.C.--Actor James Earl Jones and conductor James Levine are among the five recipients for the 25th annual Kennedy Center Honors.

The prestigious awards, presented annually to five performing arts legends, will be bestowed Dec. 7 during a gala at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in the nation's capital. Along with Jones and Levine, the evening's other recipients are songwriter/musician Paul McCartney, dancer/actress Chita Rivera and actress Elizabeth Taylor.
