Cinnamon kills E. coli, research shows

Daniel Y.C. Fung, a Kansas State University (K-State) microbiologist, recently presented research at the annual meeting of the Institute of Food Technologists showing that cinnamon is effective in killing the E-coli bacteria in apple juice.

This research finding was soon heard around the world after Fung -was inter,ie-wed by a Chicago, Illinois, television station after his presentation. A friend of Fung's even heard the news in Tokyo, he joked.
