Society and corporate public relations--why the conflict?

Corporate public relations has often been viewed by society, including the mass media and intellectuals, with skepticism and sometimes cynicism. In an attempt to understand how society views corporate communication, this study explored the social, cultural, economic, and historical contexts under which the communication between corporations and the society takes place.
