Grand Forks' population isn't growing as fast as Fargo's maybe not at all -but its labor pool is about as tight.

In Fargo, the already-tight labor market in North Dakota's largest city may get even tighter because surrounding counties are projected to see doubledigit declines over the next 15 years for people between 20 and 49 years of age, a new study says.

It's part of a tight labor market across the Upper Midwest, said Larry Anderson, area manager for Job Service North Dakota's office in Grand Forks.
