Obstetrician says dermatologists need not worry about switching patient's birth control pill

Mobile, Ala. -- Improvement of acne is a benefit associated with all estrogen-progestin combination oral contraceptives, regardless of the purported androgenicity of the progestational component, Ian H. Thorneycroft, Ph.D., M.D., said.
