LSU program aimed at helping family-owned businesses

Louisiana State University's Institute for Entrepreneurial Education and Family Business Studies is kicking off a new program Oct. 20 to benefit family-owned businesses in the region.
The institute, founded in 1992 with endowments at the E.J. Ourso College of Business Administration, will provide local owners of family businesses with interactive programs, networking opportunities, a family business directory and a quarterly newsletter, according to Joe Hair, director.
