The demographic changes sweeping America will soon include a widespread succession to the next generation among northwest Ohio's family-owned businesses.
Leadership of one-quarter of Ohio's family businesses will be changing hands during the next five years--an unprecedented level of turnover that signals a crucial time of passage for the nation's family business sector.
That was one of the key findings of the recently-completed Arthur Andersen/MassMutual American Family Business Survey '97.
