Horse racing vote is today

The MetraPark Board of Directors will hold a special meeting today on a proposal to privatize horse racing in Billings.

The board will meet at 4 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall downstairs at Metra. The meeting is open to the public.

Negotiators for Metra and for the newly formed Yellowstone Horse Racing Alliance said last week they were far from agreement on a proposed contract that would allow the alliance to take over horse racing.
