Personnel Management plans expansion in coming months

After a year's hiatus, Personnel Management Inc. is back on the acquisition trail, scouting targets in the Southeast.

"Right now, we're talking to three acquisition candidates," said Gary F. Hentschel, chief operating officer of the Greenwood-based owner of employment agencies. "We hope to announce something in the next 30 days."

Personnel Management also hopes to open four to six new Indiana offices in fiscal 1997, which started this month.

The expansion strategy might be a signal the company will show improved earnings when its 1996 results are announced in the next two weeks.
