Growing AT&T spinoff sets up regional HQ
|
Murray Hill, N.J.-based Lucent Technologies, the new $21.4 billion technology and systems spin-off of AT&T, is moving out of the AT&T building in the Spectrum and into a new Irvine office that will serve as one of its six regional headquarters.
The' 15,000-square-foot center on the sixth floor of the Transamerica building at 18201 Von Karman opens this week with 60 employees who will handle administration and large corporate sales for California, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada and Utah. Lucent VP Larry Holt will head up the new office.
