The World Ship Trust's prestigious International Maritime Heritage Award was recently presented to the handsomely restored Liberty ships SS John W. Brown in Baltimore and the SS Jeremiah O'Brien in San Francisco.

The SS John W. Brown and the SS Jeremiah O'Brien, friendly rivals on different coasts, are now symbolically tied up together at the same pier of preserved history.
