Interest Rising in the U.S. and European Market
Interests in Japanese apparel fabrics are rising again overseas. The main Japanese apparel fabrics exported abroad used to be polyester filament woven fabrics represented by shin-gosen. As polyester filament woven fabrics have developed from conventional shin-gosen, compositefiber fabrics using high technologies came to draw attention as original Japanese products. Reflecting a shift of fashion trends to casual fashions, the number of inquiries for cotton fabrics is also increasing.
