Draft Resisters Assert Freedom of Conscience in Trial of "The Five"

Basing their defense on the right of conscience, five Israeli draft resisters are on trial for refusing induction into Israeli Defense Forces. "The Five" as they have become known in Israel, assert that Israel's Basic Law on Human Dignity and Liberty provides a legal basis for them to resist the draft for reasons of conscience.
