Exhibitions of small bronzes are a rare event nowadays, and Renaissance Master Bronzes, currently on view at the Daniel Katz Gallery, is the first of its kind in London since 1978. It marks an enlightened collaboration between public and private sponsorship and gives Londoners the opportunity to see one of the finest collections of Renaissance bronzes under near ideal conditions. Well lit and sympathetically displayed, the 40-odd pieces look far more striking than in their Oxford habitat.
