WORD came from the Editor. It appeared that our esteemed political colleague, Bruce Anderson, the pride of Scotland, had discovered a Scots restaurant in Pimlico, Boisdale, where not only were such authentic comestibles as haggis readily available, but there was also a vast, nay encyclopaedic, selection of single malt whiskies. It was clear that such an establishment could not remain uninvestigated, and the Editor and I agreed to meet there for lunch.
